-- son Bruin, 18, Is doing well through his midterms (and emotional roller coaster rides) at UC Berkeley living in the dorms with his best friend from High school as roommate. He is super focused on his studies, and getting good grades so far (... another student says he is the Most Studious guy in their dorm (and its a nerdy dorm!) Pray they both find God's purposes and direction for their lives, Bruin is pre-med & physics major. Bruin and I are keeping in contact through lots of texting.
-- son Luke, 22 , spent a month in VietNam teaching JiuJitsu for July. studies Medical Technology at Cabrillo Community College,
-- son Nelson, 24 Got a job! working for Volkswagen auto company in Belmont (Silicon VAlley) now commuting from our home every day, while his kneecap heals. He had a skateboarding accident, shattered his kneecap and had surgery. THANKS for all your prayers for HIM!!!
In August He finished his Masters in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, Silicon Valley branch, (and used to surf & skateboard)
-- daughter Francis, 36-ish, teaches preschool at Neighborhood Childcare Center, and teaches Early Childhood Education at Cabrillo Community College and teachor mentoring of ECE students at UCSC. She and her husband Jason and 3 sons live in a poolside condo in bucolic Scotts Valley.
--son-in-law Jason, Francis' husband works as a computer motherboard technician.
--grandson Hugo is now Big Man On Campus as an 8th grader at Mission Hill Middle School, and plays soccer
--grandson Jeovanni is a quiet, introverted future engineer and 2d grader at Bay View Elementery School
--grandson Jason, Jr. is a formerly quiet baby who is now a talkative Kindergartener at Bay View Elementary School, who is now, sadly, tired of admiring superheroes
-- husband Bob works 2 ER jobs in Fort Bragg, and Willits hospitals. and as a legal consultant and spending every spare moment doing the world's fastest construction of an accessory dwellilng unit in our backyard.
